Scope These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts and bookings between the provider Juan Degustando (hereinafter "provider") and its customers (hereinafter "customer") regarding services such as showcooking, catering, tasting menus, wine tastings, cooking classes, consulting and event organization booked via the website or directly by email or telephone. 2. Subject Matter of the Contract The provider offers culinary experiences in fincas, villas or other locations in Mallorca, Ibiza and throughout Europe. These include showcooking, catering, tasting menus, private or business events, wine tastings and the accompanying sale of products (e.g. wine, olive oil, regional specialties, personalized decoration and wine accessories). Planning and execution of culinary concepts for events such as birthdays, anniversaries and company celebrations are also included. Finger food, buffets or multi-course menus may be provided. Agreements regarding service staff, decoration and additional equipment are made individually. Costs are calculated based on the number of guests, menu selection and additional services. 3. Conclusion of Contract A booking is made by inquiry via the website, by email or by telephone. The contract is concluded as soon as the customer receives a written confirmation from the provider and the agreed deposit has been paid. 4. Prices and Payment Terms All prices are stated in euros and include the statutory Spanish VAT unless otherwise indicated. - Deposit: 50% of the total amount is due upon booking (via PayPal or bank transfer). Only after receipt of the deposit does the booking become binding on the part of Private Cooking Juan Degustando. Juan Degustando reserves the right to cancel the event or release the date for other inquiries if the customer does not pay the 50% deposit on time. - Final payment: The remaining amount must be paid on site no later than the day of the event. 5. Cancellation and Withdrawal - Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 30 days before the event date, provided that no costs arise for Private Cooking Juan Degustando from preparations or contracts with third parties. - In case of cancellation 29 to 15 days before the date, 50% of the total amount will be charged. - In case of cancellation less than 14 days before the event or no-show, the full amount is due. - Deposits already paid will be refunded in the event of timely cancellation. 6. Event Execution Services are provided personally or by qualified employees and partners of the provider. Changes to the schedule or menu are possible by arrangement. In unforeseeable circumstances (e.g. weather, illness, force majeure), the provider reserves the right to postpone dates or offer equivalent services. 7. Liability The provider is liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty. No liability is assumed for accidents, allergic reactions or intolerances unless the customer has informed the provider in writing in advance of known allergies or intolerances. Alcohol consumption is at the customer's own responsibility. 8. Data Protection Personal data are used exclusively for contract processing and communication and are not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of the contract (e.g. payment service providers). The separate privacy policy of the website applies. 9. Photo and Video Recordings Photos and videos may be taken during events. These may be used by the provider for marketing purposes (e.g. website, social media) unless the customer expressly objects. 10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction The law of the Kingdom of Spain applies. Place of jurisdiction is Palma de Mallorca.
